Orange Peels

Chris read somewhere about making a “cleaning agent” out of orange peels .. So we decided to try it this winter.  We eat alot of citrus during the winter months – so we started saving the peels in a gallon jar – filling the jar with distilled white vinegar.  I can see the clear liquid turning a light shade of orange .. quite pretty actually.  Come spring I hope to use it as a cleaning agent out in the barn – or possibly diluted as an udder wash (still need to check on that one).
