Barred Owl is Patti’s creamery and catering business. When we started farming, it was simply how we wanted to live our lives and was not necessarily a business decision. However, as Patti has improved as a farmer she has also learned other skills in order to utilize the goat and sheep’s milk and the other farm products. Patti spent a long time deliberating over a name for her budding company. When she noticed all the barred owls in the backyard and heard their call (hoocooksforyou! hoocooksforyou!), she took it as a sign. Thus, Barred Owl Creamery and Catering was born. We are excited to share our farm’s products with the community.
